2. Access Tokens and Registration
Access to events is managed through secure tokens in the format SKA followed by 6 digits. The following conditions apply:
- Registration Required: You must register with a valid email address before purchasing tokens
- Non-Refundable: Tokens are generally non-refundable and allow one-time, single-user access to specified events
- Non-Transferable: Tokens are personal to you and may not be shared, transferred, or resold
- Single Use: Each token provides access to one specific event and expires once used or when the event ends
- Email Verification: You must use the registered email address to access events with your tokens
- Token Recovery: Lost tokens may be reissued only after proper verification by our support team
3. Prohibited Activities
To protect the integrity of our platform and content creators' rights, you may not:
- Recording/Sharing: Record, capture, screenshot, or redistribute livestream content without explicit permission
- Token Sharing: Share your access tokens, login details, or account with anyone else
- Security Bypass: Attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with our security features or anti-piracy measures
- Unauthorized Access: Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access our services
- Platform Misuse: Use the platform for unlawful, harmful, or unauthorized purposes
- Disruptive Behavior: Engage in disruptive, offensive, harassing, or inappropriate conduct in chats or communications
- False Information: Provide false or misleading information during registration or transactions
4. User Responsibilities
- Accurate Information: Provide accurate and complete information when registering and purchasing tokens
- Account Security: Maintain the security and confidentiality of your account credentials and access tokens
- Legal Compliance: Follow all applicable laws and regulations when using our services
- Respectful Conduct: Treat other users, content creators, and our staff with respect
- Device Security: Ensure your devices are secure and protected when accessing our platform
5. Service Availability and Technical Requirements
StreamKey Africa is provided on an "as available" basis. While we strive for reliable service:
- We cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free performance at all times
- You are responsible for ensuring your internet connection and device meet minimum requirements
- We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect service availability
- Event start times and technical specifications may be subject to change
6. Payment and Pricing
- Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely through encrypted payment gateways
- Pricing: Token prices are clearly displayed and may vary by event
- Currency: All prices are in South African Rand (R) unless otherwise specified
- Payment Confirmation: You will receive confirmation of successful payments and token generation
- Failed Payments: Failed payments will not result in token generation
7. Refund Policy
Tokens are generally non-refundable. However, we may provide refunds or replacement tokens in the following circumstances:
- Technical issues on our platform prevent you from accessing an event
- An event is cancelled by the organizer
- Significant technical problems affect the quality of the streaming experience
- Fraudulent charges or unauthorized transactions
Refund requests must be submitted within 48 hours of the issue occurring. Contact our support team for assistance.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- StreamKey Africa is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the affected service
- We are not responsible for content provided by third-party event organizers
- You use our services at your own risk regarding internet connectivity and device compatibility
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless StreamKey Africa from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
- Your violation of these Terms of Service
- Your misuse of our platform or services
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Any fraudulent or illegal activities conducted through your account
10. Technical Support and Issue Resolution
If you experience problems with tokens, access, or streaming:
- Contact our support team immediately through the platform chat widget or WhatsApp or email
- Provide detailed information about the issue, including your registered email,screenshots and token
- Our technical support team is available during all live events
- We will investigate and address issues promptly and fairly
- Support response times may vary but we aim to respond within 20 minutes during business hours
11. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to our services:
- For violation of these Terms of Service
- For fraudulent or suspicious activity
- For repeated technical abuse or security violations
- At our discretion for behavior that harms our platform or community
Upon termination, you lose access to all services, though legal obligations survive termination.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of South African courts. We comply with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and other applicable South African legislation.
13. Updates to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices. When significant changes are made:
